Piggeries and warehouses: the small curtain details that make a big difference

Clips, cables and overlaps look minor until a windy night tests them. A practical guide to the details that matter.

A curtain is only as good as the way it is hung. Panels that look perfect in the workshop can flap, gap or tear if the fittings are an afterthought. The right small parts protect your investment.

Overlap and wind

Panels should overlap enough that wind does not find a gap, but not so much that they become heavy to operate. For long runs, plan support points instead of relying on the fabric alone.

Routine checks

  • Look for worn clips, loose cables and frayed edges each month.
  • Clean gently with water and a soft brush.
  • Replace small parts early; they are far cheaper than a torn curtain.
